Global and Local Opportunities Begin with Education (GLOBE)

Mission

To provide a forum for diverse members of the campus and local community to facilitate collaboration and communication and improve access to international resources at UC Davis.

Membership

Any UC Davis staff, faculty, scholars, students and administrators who are interested in international programs and services (e.g. teaching, research, public service, events and campus services).

Meetings

Held quarterly on campus. When appropriate, a guest speaker will be available. The meetings will be coordinated by the steering committee.

The steering committee will create an agenda for each meeting. To suggest topics, email any of the steering committee members.

Communication

All members will be subscribed to an email list and will be able to communicate directly with each other at: globe@ucdavis.edu. The list will be used to announce meetings, share college/school and departmental news. To subscribe to the email list, email jnwwong@ucdavis.edu.
