Duties:

  • Manages the Fulbright Scholar Program and integrates the Scholars into the local community by coordinating events and activities, serving as a Fubright Campus Representative, partnering with the Bay Area Enrichment Program, and participating on the Fulbright Advisory Committee. 
  • Serves as the Administrative Director for the Mandela Washington Fellowship and oversees all Fellow support services, including budgetary and logisitcal elements of the program. 
  • Provides program oversight for campus opportunities and implements educational program guidelines for mid-career professional internships. 
  • Researches, analyzes and publicizes international funding opportunities for faculty, reseachers, post-doctoral scholars and graduate students to maximize communication of funding opportunities and encourage participation in innovative opportunities for learning and scholarship. 
  • Administers the Global Affairs Seed Grant programs by developing marketing materials, managing the call for proposals, fielding proposal inquiries, and facilitating communication with department faculty and deans.
