Advancing Diversity and Equity in International Education

UC Davis Study Abroad has been awarded a grant from the Diversity Abroad Network, a professional consortium dedicated to advancing diversity and equity in international education. The grant provides $3,000 to develop comprehensive informational material on study abroad for Latino/a students.  The project will mirror successful efforts by Stanford and the University of Virginia to encourage students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to apply to elite universities, and is intended as a pilot for broader efforts nationally to encourage students from underrepresented groups to study abroad.
