International visitors at UC Davis for conference

International Visitors

Hosting Visitors from around the World

UC Davis welcomes international delegations to the campus. Visitors must follow all current campus, local, state, and national public health guidelines at the time of their visit. Virtual delegation meetings are also welcome. If your delegation would like to schedule virtual or in-person meetings, please fill out our Visitor Request Form. Kindly note that all visitor requests must be submitted at least six weeks prior to the planned visit to be given full consideration. Please contact Michael Lazzara, Associate Vice Provost for Academic Programs and Partnerships in Global Affairs, with any questions (mjlazzara@ucdavis.edu).

UC Davis Global Affairs welcomes senior international delegations to visit the University of California, Davis, to discuss mutual collaboration opportunities and advancing relationships between our institutions. We are also available to answer questions regarding the possibility of a visit and to arrange meeting with faculty and senior administrative staff.

Request a Visit to UC Davis

Visit requests, including from consul generals, presidents or vice president of universities or institutions, must be submitted through our online Visitor Request Form. If the visit is from a dean or faculty member, the appropriate UC Davis college, school or unit should be contacted.

To determine whether a visit is possible, we request the following information.

  • Proposed date of the visit, including arrival and departure times to and from campus
  • Information about the visitor or the group (country, name of institution, number of persons, their titles and affiliations)
  • Specific topic/s of interest and desired outcomes from the appointments
  • English language capability
  • Mode of transportation to be used to reach campus (car/bus/van)

In consultation with a representative from your institution, we will arrange your campus program and meetings; however, all expenses incurred for travel and incidentals (ground transportation, lodging, meals, among others) will be the responsibility of the delegation.
