Ms. Liu holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Master’s in Environmental Planning and Management. She is a senior program officer and has 10 years of environmental planning and management experience in the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China (MEP). She was involved in the drafting, implementation and evaluation of China’s 11th National Five-year Environmental Protection Plan that ended in 2010, which was successful in COD and SO2 reduction. Ms. Liu was also involved with drafting the 12th National Five-year Environmental Protection Plan, which came into effect in 2011.
