Mr. Lwin has worked in livestock development programs that provided sustainable food security and micro-income opportunities for grass root communities living in critical watershed areas. He also participated in various agriculture and conservation activities. Mr. Lwin expects to spend his Humphrey year learning more about environmentally sustainable farming practices, natural resources management and animal health. He looks forward to utilizing the skills gained from the program to uplift the livelihoods of deprived rural communities in his country.  Mr. Lwin has a Master of Science degree from the University of Guelph in Canada.
