Mr. Alam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from Bangladesh Agricultural University and a Master’s Degree in Horticulture from Bangabandhu Sheikh Muzibur Rahman Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He has a second Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Mr. Alam has been working at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute as a researcher since 1995. He contributes to the development of various technologies related to horticultural crops. As a Humphrey Fellow, he plans to enrich his knowledge and professional skills in post harvest horticulture, focusing on handling and packaging of horticultural products to reduce loss.
