About Faith Mdhluli

Faith Mdhluli has more than ten years of experience in public service. Currently, Faith is director of sustainable resource management at the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs in Mbombela, South Africa, focusing on engineering services, disaster risk management, land care, and land use management. She is passionate about enriching the lives of young girls, especially orphans in rural areas, through education and mentorship. Faith holds a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, a master's degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration. She is driven by servant leadership, sustainable development, and improving the lives of historically disadvantaged communities. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Faith plans to advocate for sound decision-making in all governance structures to change the face of public service in South Africa (and other African countries), to create an environment in which Africans will lead socioeconomic development, and to advance Africa in the global economy.
