UC Davis Ranked Among Top Producers of Fulbright U.S. Scholars

The University of California, Davis, is included on the list of U.S. colleges and universities that produced the most 2019-20 Fulbright U.S. Scholars, announced today by The Chronicle of Higher Education. UC Davis ranks among a list of the top 21 highest producers of Fulbright U.S. Scholars among doctoral institutions, with seven scholars from UC Davis earning Fulbright awards for 2019-20.

Pam Ronald Returns to Sweden for Honorary Doctorate

Pam Ronald, a distinguished professor in the Department of Plant Pathology, will return to Sweden to receive an appointment as an honorary doctor of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, more than 30 years after receiving her first degree in Sweden, a Master of Science in physiological botany from Uppsala.

William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Jeffrey Bleich delivered the keynote address at the 2019 International Graduation Celebration, which also featured remarks from Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Ralph J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, will be the keynote speaker for the 2019 International Graduation Celebration at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) Pavilion.
