Fulbright Chile and the University of California, Davis, are pleased to announce the continuation of their joint sponsorship program for Fulbright Chairs, which has been running annually since 2022. Applications will be accepted August 1, 2025 until October 30, 2025.
A collaboration between Fulbright Chile and UC Davis, the Fulbright Chairs are awarded to faculty members or researchers who have made significant contributions to their respective fields. This selective program aims to foster international partnerships, enhance research, and strengthen teaching collaborations between Chilean institutions and UC Davis.
The program provides funding for one visiting scholar for a 3- to 4-month period, totaling US$32,400 to cover living expenses and one international round-trip airfare. This funding is shared equally between UC Davis and Fulbright Chile. The UC Davis portion is a cost share between Global Affairs and the hosting college and/or department. Hosting is contingent on the availability of this matching support.
