Consul General Luo Linquan's lecture answers questions about the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road initiative—known as One Belt and One Road—including what the initiative intends to do, its current progress, its strategy, and its opportunities in increasing connectivity.

Consul General Luo Linquan’s Biography
Luo Linquan took the office as the Consul General (Ambassadorial Rank) of the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in San Francisco in 2014. He served as the People's Republic of China Ambassador to Ireland from 2011 to 2013 and People's Republic of China Ambassador to Greece from 2007 to 2011. Prior to his two ambassadorships, he worked in the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, at the Ministry's Hong Kong office, and in China's Consulate-General in New York City.
