Design in Britain/Europe: 28 Days, 200 pages, 14 summers, 325 students, is a celebration of the UC Davis Study Abroad program Design in Europe. Visual Journals dispenses with traditional travel text in favor of sketches, hand lettering, photographs, magazine cutouts and printed ephemera. Even dirt, waste and stains are acceptable if they capture a collection of feelings, thoughts and ideas in a visual form. This exhibition is a partnership between the Department of Design and UC Davis Global Affairs. The exhibit is at the Design Museum and the International Center lobby.
