Dr. Afiavi R. Agboh-Noameshie is the National Coordinator of Farming Systems Research and Technology Transfer in Togo. She holds a PhD degree in Agronomy/Crop Production from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Dr. Agboh-Noameshie has the responsibility of ensuring that farmers, through extension and other development organizations, adopt technologies generated by research institutes. As a Humphrey Fellow, she will strengthen her capacity in rural sociology and economics to improve her skills in managing the generation of appropriate technologies for farmers and in participatory community development.
