Head of the Department of Food Science and Technology at the Khalsa College Amritsar
Mr. Singh holds an M. Phil degree in Biology with specialization in Microbiology from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Punjab India. He received his post graduate diploma in Food and Microbial Technology and a Master’s Degree in Microbiology, with specialization in Food Microbiology. For the last fourteen years, Mr. Singh has been teaching and is Head of the Department of Food Science and Technology at Khalsa College Amritsar. Mr. Singh is researching food contamination by bacteria. During his Humphrey year, he plans to work in the areas of food processing, food safety and HACCP. He hopes to learn more about using different techniques to detect food borne illness causing microorganisms.
