Bio

Michael Asiamah-Bampoe has over six years of experience in civil engineering and serves as an Engineer Officer within the Ghanaian Armed Forces. At the Directorate of Engineer Services, he works to ensure worksite quality control standards around health and safety, and water and waste management. He looks forward to incorporating modern drainage engineering, and new water and waste technologies into future projects. Outside of his work with the Armed Forces, Michael volunteers with two non-governmental organizations, Utopia Wishlist Ghana, and Cancer Support Network Ghana. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Michael plans to continue working in the field of engineering, using innovate methods of water and waste management to help protect the environment for future generations.
