Mbali is an aquatic sciences professional who is passionate about the protection of the natural environment, education, and girl’s empowerment. Mbali has over nine years’ experience in water resource management, sustainable development, aquatic biomonitoring, environmental awareness, and environmental compliance. Mbali holds a Master of Science in Aquatic Health. Mbali is also the co-founder of a mentorship and career development program for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds with a special focus on girls in the LGBTI community. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Mbali aspires to grow professionally in the water sector and continue empowering girls through educational opportunities.
