Gentjan Mehmeti, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the Agricultural University of Tirana, Albania. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics and Agribusiness, where his research examined livestock farm performance in Albania’s meat supply chain, and later completed postdoctoral studies at the Marche Polytechnic University, Italy. His research interests include farm management, agri-food systems, value and supply chain analysis, and consumer behavior. As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Davis, he focuses on methods to quantify, assess, and reduce food loss at the farm level.
