Dr. Daniel Opazo is an architect and educator based in Santiago, Chile. His academic work focuses on the production of collective and public spaces, and on design collaboration. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU), University of Chile, where he teaches design studios and theoretical courses at graduate and undergraduate level. He has conducted funded research projects, developed public installations and published indexed articles and chapters on his field. Currently, he is Director of Academic Affairs and International Relations at FAU and a Fulbright Chair Visiting Professor at the Department of Human Ecology, University of California, Davis.
