Ms. Martirosyan holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences from Yerevan Polytechnic Institute and currently is working on her PhD in Ecotourism Management in the National Parks with the Botany Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. The major projects she has implemented focus on watershed management, forestry management, protected areas management and biodiversity conservation. She is also the Director of Ecogeneration NGO, where she has implemented youth-oriented outreach and conservation projects. As a Humphrey Fellow, Ms. Martirosyan wants to improve her professional and managerial skills in national parks management, including conservation and rational use of watersheds, and natural and cultural heritage.
