Mr. Dincergok holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. Since 1993, he has been working at the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, Department of Dams and Hydroelectric Power Plants as a senior civil engineer. He is responsible for the coordination of the project staff and the preparation of expert reports on hydropower issues. During his Humphrey year, Mr. Dincergok will focus on the planning, financing, efficiency and environmental policies of renewable energy investments, with an emphasis on hydropower. He will also analyze the U.S. policy model and its applicability and potential benefits for an emerging renewable energy market in Turkey.
