Bio
Charlene Gaba has over five years of experience in climate science, water engineering, and water policy. She is currently a lecturer and researcher at the National Institute of Water, University of Abomey-Calavi, Benin. She is devoted to empowering women in science by helping them network and get access to more research scholarships and opportunities, and improve their writing skills. Charlene holds a Ph.D. in Climate Change and Water Resources. She has a great interest towards water security and water management issues. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Charlene envisions to be a leader in the extension of environmental monitoring networks in Benin.
