Leaders from three universities in Africa will discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the future of international education in an online forum Thursday, June 25.

The second in a series of five live conversations with educational leaders from about a dozen countries, the panel will include:

The series, “The Future of International Education: Leadership Perspectives From Around the World,” is co-hosted by the Institute of International Education, or IIE, and the University of California, Davis. See the series news release.  

The regional panel on Africa will begin at 9 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. UTC). UC Davis Chancellor Gary S. May will moderate the discussion.

The series began today (June 18) with an introductory global panel, and the three other regional conversations will focus on Asia and Oceania (July 2), Europe (July 9) and Latin America (July 16). May and Allan Goodman, president of the IIE, will moderate.

The hourlong sessions are open to the public. For each session, advance registration is required and will close when seats are filled.
