International Agreements

University College Dublin (UCD) and the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish the International Innovator Fellowship at the UC Davis Innovation Institute for Food and Health for Ph.D. students from the University College Dublin.

On June 1, 2021, the University of California, Davis and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in Pakistan signed an agreement of cooperation to partner on research and capacity building collaborations in horticulture and animal science. The agreement builds upon past agreements between the two universities signed in 2008 and 2013 as well as ongoing collaborations between UC Davis and Pakistan.

The global partnership brings together experts from Australia and California for collaborative opportunities in food systems.

In July 2020, the University of California, Davis, and UNSW Sydney signed a new partnership in food and nutrition science and engineering. The relationship will focus on student exchange, research collaboration and the pursuit of joint funding opportunities, with an emphasis on food systems.

The University of California DAVIS (UC Davis) and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia are excited to enter into a partnership on Food and Nutrition Science. The program is built around the strategic axes of student exchange, research collaboration and exploration of joint funding opportunities.

UC Davis was announced a winner of the Global Education Enhancement Fund offering $5,000 per institution to support members in delivering and enhancing higher education for a rapidly changing and uncertain future.

Professor John Harada, Department of Plant Biology, was recently recognized by Japan’s Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) with an honorary doctorate of science. The honor comes after over a decade of fruitful collaboration between the UC Davis College of Biological Sciences and NAIST.

Rector Ignacio Sánchez, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile traveled UC Davis to hold a series of meetings with UC Davis leaders to assess the current relationship and joint work being pursued by both institutions in various departments and also to strengthen opportunities for continuing the internationalization of UC.

University College Dublin (UCD) and the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) have today signed an agreement of co-operation. The agreement, to further develop education, research, innovation and cultural links between the both institutions, builds on a strategic partnership agreement signed in September 2014.
