Several UC Davis Institute of Global Nutrition (IGN) experts joined in a coalition to recommend scaling-up provision of a novel fortified food-based supplement to prevent child malnutrition and mortality among vulnerable children 6–23 months of age. On November 11, 2022, the Association for Women in Slavic Studies (AWSS) awarded Dr. Joanna Regulska, professor of gender, sexuality and women’s studies, and vice provost and dean of UC Davis Global Affairs, with the 2022 Outstanding Achievement Award for her exceptional career in Slavic, East European and Eurasian women’s and gender studies and her outstanding service as a mentor to women students and colleagues.
