The Chronicle of Higher Education announced that UC Davis is a “top producer” of Fulbright U.S. Scholars for the 2019-20 academic school year.

Humphrey Fellowship Program participants on Aug. 13 — 11 accomplished mid-career professionals from 11 different countries who are spending the 2019-20 academic year strengthening their professional skills, improving their leadership abilities, and engaging in meaningful collaboration.

On August 13, UC Davis welcomed its 29th cohort of Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program participants — 11 accomplished mid-career professionals from 11 different countries — who are spending the 2019-20 academic year strengthening their professional skills, improving their leadership abilities, and engaging in meaningful collaboration.

To say that former UC Davis Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow Itzel Morales (2016-17, México) is responsible for climate leadership in Latin America is no understatement. Through her work with Climate Reality Latin America, she is the official coordinator of climate activists throughout Latin America, including her home country of México, overseeing 1,260 climate leaders representing 20 countries.

In preparation for the 2019 Mandela Washington Fellowship Summit, the UC Davis Mandela Fellows shared about the work they are doing or plan to do in their home countries, and their thoughts on an issue of importance to them. Their presentations center around the theme: “Inspiring Innovation and Growth through Leadership.”
