Pedro is an Assistant Professor of Hydrology at the Sanitary and Environmental Engineering Department of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianopolis-Brazil. He studied Sanitary and Environmental Engineering at UFSC in Brazil and did his PhD in Urban and Environmental Engineering - Kyoto University, Japan. Currently he is the Supervisor of the Hydrology Lab at UFSC (http://www.labhidro.ufsc.br/en/home) hoping to understand the climatic and physiographic controls of streamflow from small to large catchments in Brazil. At UC Davis he is working in Prof. Schladow lab on a project that aims to understand the main controls of lake and stream interactions.
