Global Affairs provide announcements of international funding opportunities—and partners with UC Davis departments and organizations, and senior government and foundation officials to host funding workshops that assist faculty and staff members in securing funding from highly competitive international grant programs.


Funding Opportunity: 2019-20 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program Competition is Open

The 2019-20 competition for the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is now open. The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers teaching, research and combination teaching/research awards in 137 countries for the 2019-20 academic year. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others. 

Graduate Student Funding Opportunity through the Blum Center

A part of Global Affairs, the Blum Center for Developing Economies offers a graduate student funding opportunity called Poverty Alleviation through Sustainable Solutions (PASS) grants, which provide between $1,000 and $4,000 in seed funding for graduate students to find and execute viable solutions for reducing poverty around the world.
