Samuel Biton is a civil engineer with over ten years of experience focusing on water, sanitation, and the environment. Currently, Samuel is the project manager for the Central Region Water Board (CRWB), where he manages and coordinates project planning, designing, and implementation. He also owns SD Consulting Engineering, one of the fastest growing civil engineering consulting firms in Malawi. He works with SD Consulting Engineering on a part-time basis. Samuel holds a Master of Science in Municipal Water and Infrastructure from the UNESCO-IHE Institute in the Netherlands and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Malawi (UNIMA). He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at UNIMA. During the next five years, Samuel hopes to take on a role in upper management at CRWB and teach at higher institutions on a part-time basis to effectively contribute to the socio-economic development of his country.
