Chipampa Chola is a senior renewable energy officer in the Zambian Ministry of Energy. With more than seven years of experience in the energy sector, his main focus is renewable energy and energy efficiency. His expertise includes developing strategies and managing renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects. Chipampa has been instrumental in forming the Zambia Scaling-Up Renewable Energy Program investment prospectus and the Sustainable Energy for All action agenda and investment plan. These renewable and energy-efficiency projects could advance universal access to modern energy services for all Zambians. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Chipampa hopes to promote increased adoption of renewable energy and energy-efficient technologies in Zambia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
