Giliardo Jorge Lopes Nascimento holds a master's degree in International Law and specializes in maritime law. He works in the fisheries sector in Cabo Verde, redefining the legal framework, and conducts technical and operational training for the development and empowerment of fishing communities. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Giliardo will continue supporting fishing communities in Cabo Verde.
