About the Fund
The Global Community Emergency Fund provides direct support to UC Davis international students, scholars, faculty, and staff with an urgent financial need due to humanitarian crises, including natural disasters, conflict, or economic hardship.
Eligibility and Process
This fund supports members of the UCD international community holding a U.S. visa.
Funds are meant to assist with expenses incurred directly by the international applicant to cover essential needs in the U.S., such as housing, transportation, utilities, and education. Tuition and fees are not covered.
A committee from the UC Davis School of Law and Global Affairs evaluates the applications and distributes funds up to $750 per applicant. Receipts may be requested to verify expenditures.
Recipients must accept the award within seven business days of the offer and arrange for receipt of funds. After seven days, the offer will expire.
