Bio

Eileen Dobzynski is a third-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor's of Arts in anthropology and minors in technology management and French. Educational equity is cause she is passionate about; she has previously worked with school districts in California, mentored young adults with disabilities in the Redwood SEED Scholars Program at UC Davis, and conducted an international educational research project in Pokhara, Nepal, in Summer 2024, Project LEAP. Project LEAP (Learning, Equity and Accessibility Programming) was designed to observe classrooms and interview teachers, principals and students about the challenges they face while using Looma Box, an offline curriculum projector and software system. She previously studied abroad in Nepal as part of the Quarter Abroad "Community, Technology and Sustainability in Nepal" Program where her team completed a project of designing a visitor center for the Great Machhapuchhre Trail Trekking Association that promotes local business and supports sustainable tourism efforts.
