Dan Domocos is a PhD candidate in neurobiology at the University of Bucharest, Romania. The purpose of his visit is to test his findings on animal models of itch in Prof. Earl Carstens laboratory. The aim of his study is to elucidate the role of serotonin in the peripheral nervous system with implications for pain and itch.
