Kjetil Fallan is a professor of Design History at the University of Oslo, Norway. He is currently leading the project Back to the Sustainable Future: Visions of Sustainability in the History of Design (http://www.backtothesustainablefuture.net), funded by the Research Council of Norway. At UC Davis, he is based in the Department of Design, researching the emergence of ecological design in Scandinavia in the 1960s and 1970s.
