Ms. Zhang graduated from Peking University with a M.S. degree in environment sciences. She is now responsible for environmental technology policy making and implementation. In addition, she participates in the management of sustainable production and consumption in China. In the past 10 years, Ms. Zhang has been active in many international cooperation projects such as the UNEP-T ongji University leadership project and the Sino-EU vehicle emission control project. As a Humphrey Fellow, Ms. Zhang wants to learn international rules for environmental technology transfer. She is interested in the implementation of environmental policies in the US, such as permit acquisition and the Environmental T echnology Verification Program.
