Ms. Kurdusiewicz received her Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Agriculture in Warsaw, Poland, and her second Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure in the International Masters Program at the Technical University in Stockholm. For six years she has worked in the International Cooperation Department of the Polish Ministry of Environment and is involved in the development of national sustainable development policy and cooperation with United Nations Organizations. She was responsible for cooperation with the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development (UNCSD) and the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP). Ms. Kurdusiewicz represented Poland in the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, in 2002, as a coordinator of the National Delegation. Ms. Kurdusiewicz will participate in university courses that relate to environmental policy, sustainable development policy and project management. She will consult with national, state, county, and municipal officials dealing with environmental issues, as she is interested in US national environmental policy and its international dimension.
