Ms. Cruz has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a focus in Zoology from Panama University. She holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Conservation from Santa Maria La Antigua University of Panama. Most recently she studied for a PhD in Environmental Science Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain. In her current position, Ms. Cruz has responsibility for monitoring scientific projects for research. As a Humphrey Fellow, she wants to increase her knowledge of mitigation and adaptation for climate change and environmental policy management. She is also interested in wastewater for use in agriculture.
