María Beatriz Pugliese

Bio

Ms. Pugliese is a researcher of Viticulture at the National Institute of Agriculture Technology (INTA). She is also a professor of Viticulture and Phytopathology at the Universidad Nacional de San Juan and in the Master degree program in Viticulture and Enology at the National University of Cuyo. She holds a Master's degree in Viticulture and Enology from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina.

Ms. Pugliese has worked at INTA since 2006. She coordinates research projects for different grape projects in Argentina and South Africa with farmers, institutes and private companies, to increase the competitiveness of grapes and to promote local economic and social development of farmers. In addition, she gives conferences in different congresses, symposiums, workshops and scientific meetings. Ms. Pugliese has been teaching at the University since 2007 and is a thesis advisor. She is a committee member of scientific magazines, congresses and thesis defense at the University. Furthermore, she trains students and farmers with a holistic and critical view point.
