Bio

Ms. Onyuro holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master’s degree in Zoology-Ecology from Moi University College. She has 19 years of work experience, 9 years as a teacher of Biology and 10 years as a lecturer in the field of conservation biology. In addition, she mentors trainers and works as an auditor for the Quality Management Systems. Her continuous professional development includes working with communities in conservation and management of aquatic resources. Recently, Ms. Onyuro teamed with three colleagues to successfully acquire funding from Wetlands International towards the support and development of an Integrated Management Plan (IMP) for the Lake Naivasha Basin.
