Bertin Cubaka Ciza is a Congolese lawyer currently working with the Ministry of the Civil Service. After working for non-governmental organizations focused on conflict resolution and protection of human rights, he entered the civil service. His career in this sector began at the Ministry of Transport, where he was part of a team that implemented a public procurement unit within the administration. His current work with the Ministry of the Civil Service aims to improve the management of human resources of the public administration. On completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Bertin will continue to bring about real change and contribute to the development of his country as he aspires to maintain an active role in politics.
