About Mohamed Djama Guedi

Mohamed Djama Guedi has more than three years of experience in data science and the industrial Internet of Things. Currently, Mohamed is project manager at SGTD Container Terminal, where he manages innovative projects at the Port of Djibouti. Mohamed set up a free hands-on workshop on artificial intelligence that promotes a data-driven decision-making culture. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering and a master's degree in data science and business analytics. Mohamed is passionate about agriculture and is on a mission to democratize access to state-of-the-art technologies, such as precision agriculture. He believes such technologies can be used to fight famine and climate change and to enable better and healthier crops. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Mohamed plans to continue to democratize precision agriculture and change the agricultural landscape across Africa.
