Chris Kimanga has over eight years of experience in designing and constructing public infrastructure. As the County Government of Laikipia's Director for Energy, Chris is responsible for establishing energy projects that will promote business activities, create jobs, and improve people's wellbeing. Chris has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and an MBA in strategic management. He is committed to the proactive planning and execution of high-impact projects in energy and infrastructure that promote economic growth. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Chris plans to implement strategic policies, regulations, and projects that will promote access to affordable, reliable, clean, and modern energy in Laikipia County and beyond.
