Ms. Win holds a Master’s Degree in Development Economics from Yangon Institute of Economics with a focus on public policy, development theories, food security and environmental issues. She graduated from Yangon University with a degree in English Language and Literature. In her current position at WFP, she is responsible for project management, design and implementation of the food security programme to deliver hunger solutions to the rural population. In the past 12 years at WFP, she has coordinated with government and NGO partners, established operational agreements for implementation, reviewed project proposals and negotiated funding arrangements to deliver effective food assistance. She has a broad understanding of issues such as food security, nutrition, environment and community development.
