A 1985 graduate of Sana'a University, College of Commerce, Ms. Thabit works for the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank as Deputy Manager for Rural Women Affairs. She is one of the founders of the Women Economic Empowerment Association. As a Humphrey Fellow, she will concentrate linking women's issues with micro-finance.
