2018 International Research Conference Announcement

Enhance your experience at the 2018 International Research Conference at UC Davis. Special pricing expiring soon.

Dear colleagues,

As you register for the 2018 International Research Conference at UC Davis (Sept. 17-18), UC Davis Global Affairs invites you to also register for one of our pre-conference tours on Sept. 16 and enjoy some of the world’s best wine and most beautiful scenery before the conference begins.

We invite you to select one of these two options:

Napa

Napa Experience and Wine Tour

Napa Valley is known to be one of the premier viticultural areas in the world. Through this tour, you will experience tours and tastings of two Napa Valley wineries and enjoy relaxing along the Napa River. Learn more or reserve your spot.

Tahoe

Lake Tahoe Excursion and Tour

This tour will allow you to revel in the majestic blue waters of the largest Alpine lake in North America, enjoy a catered lunch and also learn about the ground-breaking research being conducted by the internationally recognized UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center. Learn more or reserve your spot.

Additionally, if you haven’t done so already, remember to book your hotel room with one of our hotel partners because rooms are filling up quickly and special pricing is expiring soon (starting Aug. 6). Learn more or book your room with one of these hotels. Global Affairs also has partnered with United Airlines and Avis to offer special pricing on airfare and car rentals. Learn more here.

If you have any questions, please email internationalconference@ucdavis.edu.

Whether or not you take advantage of a pre-conference tour, we’re looking forward to seeing you at the 2018 International Research Conference at UC Davis this fall!

Sincerely,

The event is affiliated with the Global Climate Action Summit event which runs from September 12-14 in San Francisco.
