Mr. Kpadonou Hounsa holds a post graduate degree in Environmental Management and Water Quality from Abomey-Calavi University in Benin. He is currently serving as an Assistant Officer at the Sanitation and Public Hygiene Department of the Health Ministry. He graduated in Natural Sciences from National University of Benin in 1997 and received a Master’s Degree in Education from Felicien Nandjo Teacher’s Training School of Porto-Novo in 2001. Mr. Kpadonou Hounsa is involved in the prevention of water and sanitation related diseases. As a Humphrey Fellow, Mr. Kpadonou Hounsa will complete courses in communication, marketing and project management. He also hopes to learn more about environmental decision making and environmental economic assessments to promote public hygiene and sustainable sanitation for disease control and prevention in Benin.
