Global Aggies Award for LGBTQIA+ Rights

​​​​​​This award supports UC Davis undergraduate, graduate and professional students with global learning and engagement regarding the issues that LGBTQIA+ communities and individuals face around the world. The grant supports student involvement in research or creative work, internships/externships, or other projects that advance the rights and/or well-being of LGBTQIA+ people globally. Up to $2,500.

Peter and Marion London Global Learning Innovation Award

The Peter and Marion London Global Learning Innovation Award supports an annual project led by one or more UC Davis students who partner with Nepali and/or Tibetan students on a project with a strong public benefit related to sustainable development for disadvantaged communities. Up to $4,500.

France-Berkeley Fund Awards

The France-Berkeley Fund invites applications for up to $12,000 in seed funding for new collaborations between faculty and research scientists at UC Davis and their counterparts in France. There is a required campus match of up to $8,000 per award, with home departments confirming a monetary contribution equivalent to 1/3 of the total grant request. Alianza MX Call for Proposals: Small Grants for Conferences and Travel for Spring/Summer 2024

UC Alianza MX announces a call for proposals for small grants up to $5,000 to support travel to present research at conferences in Mexico or hosting Mexico-related events at a UC campus between April 1 and September 30, 2024.

UC Alianza MX Call for Proposals: Applied Research in Environment and Health 

UC Alianza MX announces a Call for Collaborative Research Proposals in Applied Sciences between the Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico and the University of California. Joint proposals must be led by co-principal investigators from both institutions and are requested in the areas of environmental remediation or sanitation, or prevention or treatment of metabolic diseases.

UC Alianza MX Call for Proposals: Strategic Research Projects 2024-26  

UC Alianza MX announces a call for proposals for Strategic Research Projects on a two-year cycle beginning in summer/fall 2024 and ending in summer/fall 2026. Strategic Research Projects use academic insights to engage non-academic stakeholders on an issue (or issues) of strategic importance to Mexico or its bilateral relationships with California and the United States.

Joint Colloquium on Afghanistan: Generating a Political Process in Afghanistan

Through a joint initiative, the American Institute of Afghanistan Studies, the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame and the U.S. Institute of Peace will select up to 20 Afghan scholars and practitioners to prepare papers (2,000-2,500 words) to be presented at a two-day colloquium on April 25-26, 2024, at the University of Notre Dame’s campus in Indiana.

UTFORSK: Funding Opportunities for Joint Projects Between Norway and the U.S.

The Norwegian Embassy in Washington D.C. is pleased to introduce a new call for joint projects between higher education institutions that engage in bilateral cooperation (Norway-U.S.) or multilateral cooperation involving a partner in Norway and the U.S. as well as one or more of the other eligible countries (Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, South Africa and South Korea). The program is funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research.

Fulbright International Education Administrator Award

France and Germany Deadline: February 1, 2024
This award provides international education professionals and senior higher education officials an opportunity to engage in a two-week intensive seminar to learn about the host country’s education system and establish networks of U.S. and international colleagues. Applications for France and Germany are still open.

Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program
