I am driven by achievements. I am continually trying to reach a higher or better version of myself by being fully engaged and passionate about everything I do to be able to appreciate my efforts and progress with tangible results.

What drew you to your professional field?

Every person, animal, plant, industry, business, etc., needs water. I chose this field because it is essential to life, and I want to help manage it because it is a field where for each well-taken action, the results are immediate, positive, and sustainable.

What is something from your country that you would like to share with the UC Davis community?

The word teranga means hospitality.

How would you like to engage with UC Davis and the community here?

Interact with as many people as possible, try as many cultural activities as possible, build relationships, and remain open to constructive experiences.
