Call for Nominations: Association of Pacific Rim Universities Asia Pacific Women in Leadership Mentoring Program
Global Affairs and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion have opened the nomination period for the fifth cohort of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities Asia Pacific Women in Leadership Mentoring Program running from September 2024 - October 2025.

Apply to Teach a First-Year Seminar, Global Learning
First-Year Seminars allow instructors to explore their intellectual interests in a small class format while promoting intellectual exchange, critical thinking and community. Global Learning seminars enable students to explore cultural diversity and learn about global challenges and how they are addressed while developing awareness and critical thinking skills that will help them thrive in an interconnected world. The instructor of record is eligible for an academic enrichment fund allocation of $2,500 for a one-unit course and $3,000 for two units. ARISC Faculty Exchange Fellowship Program
The ARISC offers a faculty exchange program for educators in higher educational settings from the U.S. and the South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia). The exchange aims to broaden mutual understanding by exploring diverse cultural perspectives.

Transatlantic Mobility Program
The Transatlantic Mobility Program offers funding for American and French Higher Education Institutions to co-develop integrated education programs through mobility. Proposals that provide tangible evidence of advancements in forging academic alliances will be particularly valued, underscoring our commitment to nurturing the foundation of lasting partnerships.

From Sacramento to Santiago: Exploring Shared Solutions for Sustainable Energy
Yayoi Takamura, professor and chair of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, will use her Global Affairs Seed Grant for International Activities to collaborate with the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile on sustainable energy technologies, such as photovoltaic solar cells and batteries.
