The 2020-21 call for mini-grant proposals for the inaugural Campus Global Theme program is now open. UC Davis’ first Campus Global Theme: Food for Thought: Feeding Ourselves, Feeding the Planet, roots itself in the strengths of the institution to call for programs that can help our community reflect on the work of nourishing our world.

Global Affairs Announces First UC Davis Campus Global Theme

UC Davis is launching its first Campus Global Theme: “Food for Thought: Feeding Ourselves, Feeding the Planet.” This complex topic for the inaugural series of programs was chosen by the Global Education for All Steering Committee to advance global learning and UC Davis efforts towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by connecting the entire campus community to programming that is personally, academically and professionally significant.

First-Ever UC Davis Millennium Fellows Creating More Awareness of UN Goals on Campus

Thanks to UC Davis’ selection as one of 30 campuses across the world to support Millennium Fellows through the 2018–19 academic year, 14 student leaders are gaining leadership training opportunities and direct experience in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—a collection of 17 goals that address global challenges—on campus.
